Projeto de musica eletrônica paulistana, independente (mesmo), com quase de 2 anos de estrada, a Mono4 é um dos destaques da nova cena eletrônica brasileira, mas não é só isso: nós, os integrantes, somos todos uns ALUCINADOS por tênis! Esse mês estamos participando de uma coletânea bem bacana de uma revista japonesa chamada Merci.
Junto a ela foi lançado um CD em todo o japão com a música Kind of Friends.
Confira aqui a entrevista que rolou na revista na integra já que nem todos entendem japonês. !!
Q1. Please introduce the members & parts.
Mono4 band are Edo Julie and Pollak, when we are in action we are:
EDO: Programing, bass, guitar, drums, vocals, JULIE: Vocals ,POLLAK: key,vocals.
Q2. The reason to start band? About when?
We met them randomly, but in a few minutes felting like part of a family. M.O.N.O.4 islike a small collective
of people all working together towards a bright and fun future, we were born exactly 26th of September 2006. o/
Q3. From what were you influenced?
Basically everything that we like, our identity shines through their music, but also through design, photography
and fashion, our work we love to make music dance,and making people have fun together with us!
Q4. What activity are you doing now? Is there release?
Ohh, well well well!We are just finishing our first album ,we Played MONO4 Live Set , for a whilewe take the time,
and we love this so amazing we are having fun a lot!
Working in a new material, surprise!
Q5. What place is the area where you live? How about the music scene?
We live near the total São Paulo scene! Here is amazing we love this city. Have parties everyday.....
everyday-day-of-week! The music scene happen in the all diferent clubs around the city, always have
a good club to go, no matter the kind of music that you like.
Q6. Please introduce your friend's band.
We have a lot of friends band , friends that are Djs, a lot of band too Brazil is a place that you can find
a LOT OF STUFFS , when you think in music.Just take a look at our Myspace friends, you cand find the
best that Brazil can offer!!enjoy!
Q7. What is most favorite music, magazine and other culture now?
we love the Sup Magazine , and Amelias Magazines (London) Both magazines that we participated last year ,
here in Brazil we Love Gudi, is amazing magazine with good taste as mono4 likes. :)
Q8. What do you think of Japan?
Love the FOOD!
Here in Brazil there's a place called (Liberdade) Freedom in english , It's a little piece of Japan,everytime
when we can, we go to there and eat some food. Japan culture is wonderful!
Japan is a colourful country , we think to be there is amazing, we just love the candy packages and the
colour, the peoples , we don't know how the music scene is in japan, would be a GREAT pleasure play to our
japaneses fans :)
Oh, Julie just remember , we are fan of 80kidZ and Shinichi Osawa they are @#$*!ing amazing! Weplay
80kidz song in in our Dj set's and Friends parties! Xxx
We received emails from Japan of people ordering the song Fool Time. (inside myspace)
we hope one day we can going to there in Japan play to million of peoples, this is our
dream right? YEAH!
Q9. The message to the reader in Japan.
Lovely , colour, fun and amazing people from japan, your culture is amazing, we don't know the music
scene but the japan is one of the GREAT places that we want to visit! SOON!
We just hope a invitation :)
